Do the line-bred reds stay any smaller than others? Just curious. I know some of these tank bred color variant fish can be smaller... Like EBJD.

I don't think they are smaller. Mine is becoming quite hefty lately and he doesn't really play nice either. I had him in a 90 gallon with a Rotkeil and a Notatus when the fish were younger but to seperate all 3 over the last few months. My Red was definetly the most aggressive of the 3 and he's now housed with my Multispinosa in the original 90 gallon tank while the others are in different tanks. I was hoping to have a tank with a couple different severums but it just didn't work out.

the 1 i can get thats 80 its base collor is whitish and it has red lines it looks like a maze on it

If the base color is whitish, it's not a red severum. It's just a gold. Golds get red lines and have a red anal fin.

My super red male is the biggest severum I own. It's 10 or 11" and extremely chunky. He's awesome.

Check out the stock in my sig.
One red sev and will be 20 schoolers soon. Real nice setup, pics are in sig too if you want to see.

Ryan post some pics of that fish. Mine is about 7 inches and one of my most colorful fish and he's awesome too.

Mine was sold to me as a "red streaked", but I think is a true red. This is a pic when I first got him, now his fins and belly are getting darker (more filled) and he has a turquoise stripe running along the top of his dorsal developing.

My severums grew from 2"-7" in about 6 months maybe 8 months and they continue to grow. My red severum however grows slower he's only 4-5"

Very Nice, Ryan! Gary supposedly has some of these growing out. Did he get any of his from you? One of my allotted stock spaces is being reserved for a Red Severum.
