Hey guys , i know theres ALOT of mixed views on how to keep fish and what works for some doesnt work for others etc but im just trying to give the best possible life to my fish thats all, i have multiple huge tanks (10 5ft tanks and a few smaller and a couple larger to be exact) but i have a 5ft with 4 male red shoulder severums in it and i’ve just been given what i think is a female to add to them, theyre all around 5/6 inches and all get on ok apart from the odd joust and chase but as i’ve added this newby they’ve of course started the “initiation” and showing the newcomer who’s boss so im watching very closely to make sure its just the usual and noones getting hurt, my question is, is 4 males to one female a bad idea or is that still an ok group dynamic OR will they all just hound her or will she just pair off with who she chooses (and then ill separate the pair anyway) ?? Iv no issues just taking her out and pairing her now i just wanted to let her be part of the group if it was ok thats all , any advice is welcome
