In the previous Hybrid forum link you gave us, they called your fish an SRS which is short for Super Red Synspilum, a Flowerhorn. It's not a species, it's just a name that some guy thought up one day so he could make more money on him. When you talk to people who aren't FH fanatics, you have to say SRS or we'll think you mean Vieja Synspilum. Your fish is a Flowerhorn...they're two completely different fish.
As far as more room, that's so he can get more excercise and be healthier. Not to smash into the glass but if he does, that's his thing so bravo for him. How come you don't put him in your 220? I saw that you're also working on an indoor pond? How's it coming along?
