How long are you going to upgrade its home? If I were you, plan ahead while you can. Don't underestimate the growth rate of your fish. As for feeders, be sure to quarantine first before you feed them to your fish. I wouldn't recommend using feeders unless you can breed and raise them yourself which is safer than buying them from your store and eventually ending up in infesting your fish with parasites.
