its retarded cheap so its hard to pass up, the shop has 3 and they want $9.99 each, flight is $60 so i could bring in 3 for under $100, im just tripping about
A them getting eaten, or B growing them out all together and having to raise 5 giant cats lol, not that its a bad thing but wife wont let me install a pool in the living room lol

That's not bad here in Connecticut I only seen one in a lfs and they wanted $60. They just lowered it to $30 like two weeks ago.

I predict big problems: When too small, RTC will eat them. When 10" and bigger, an ARTC will beat up a 2' RTC senseless and dead in one overnight in a small tank or pretty much any bottom dweller in any tank as they are fiercely, ferociously territorial... but in a big pond, like 2000 gal, may be ok. Past 3"-4", 5" if lucky, ARTCs can not be housed together in a tank - you will have just one left... much, much sooner than later.

It grows to 3.5'.

To sum up: ARTC is for one-fish-tanks. In huge ponds of at very least 5000-10,000 gal but rather 20,000-50,000 to be safe, it has been possible to combine them with some other big bottom dwellers.
