Red tail catfish pond HELP !

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
WC i think it means water change but IMO don't know ................also i need some help about best foods for young red tails please

IMO, you must get at least 9'-10'. Good luck

don't worry it will reach 9-10 inch soon with a staple or shrimps, pellets and live/dead/dry or frozen fish that i can give him...and worms...today i fed him with one shrimp and 2 live fish that i bought from the pet store....Harlequin Rasbora i think

staying today at the computer a new idea came in my mind....would you think a plywood aquarium would be better than the pond...i think is harder to do but you can see the fish through the front window which makes a big difference on the tank aspect and i don't know ...any ideas from you are more than excellent and also some advices in heating an 650 gallons would be great

i don't think so as 96 inch is about 8 feet and 8 feet mean 2.40 m so i can't afford that length as the tank / pond will be in my house terrace and the terrace shape is somehow irregular and in the place where i wanna put the tank/pond the maximum length i can get is about 2.20 m , so i think 87 inch so 7.5 feet ...i thought about placing the tank/pond somewhere else but the terrace will be heated and will be a bit warm in winter inside .......so the place is the same but i need answers : what you suggest me a plywood tank or a pond ? which will be cooler .. beautifuler ...easier to do ( i think pond is ) and any other stuff on pond/plywood and you can say the pros and cons for both and i will choose one...please i need help is not so easy to choose i need your opinions please...i need help

oh sorry i understood something else my bad .....of course does is a good size for a red tail for sure ..i think even two are ok there..but as you said making a plywood tank is cooler but harder to do as it needs glass, fiberglass or epoxy...many things so i think i'll keep on doing a pond as it just a lot simple and for someone like me who make something like that for the first time a pond is enough
