Big, at least 3' if not more. It would out grow your 110 in less than a year. So unless you can get something at least 6' long and 4' wide minimum I wouldn't suggest getting one.

i wouldnt say that ....i've had mine for two months and its only grown a inch maybe a little more........i also heard they slow down once they hit 12inches so he's not necessarily doing something wrong............

Regardless to how fast these fish grow what we do know is that they grow extreamly large and shouldn't be kept in a small unsutable tank.

(if he replys at all)

we need to know how big the tank is.

how much water he changes per week.

what he feeds and how often.

and the water parameters (particularly nitrate)

oh and tankmate (stock level)

good point. i have always wanted 2 keep a RTC, but i am limited to a
2 gallon: maybe for RTC fry.
30:maybe for about a week or 2.
125: not long at all in this tank.

you see i like to get fish and keep them 4 life. not like, get them and plan on getting a bigger tank.
