Red Tail catfish?

im planing on geting a red tail catfish and i was just wondering if you have any tips for caring for this fish or any advice would be grate

Have you looked through that RTC and TSN information in the Sticky section? What exactly are you wanting to know.. your probably going to get alot of..."HOW BIGS YOUR TANK" lol, and that they get huge...

you need a giant tank or a heated pond (1000+ gals preferrably) and a huge budget for food! Other than that they are pretty simple fish.

Filtration and a bulletproof water changing schedule are key. Never overfeed as they throw up when you do(especially when they are large.)

I also happen to think this would put most people off.

They grow bigger than a 5 year old!

They eat more than a half ton bloke!

They need more room than your Super Strech hummer!
