1. Red tail catfish

2. Tiger red tail catfish

3. Asian red tail catfish

4. Marbled red tail catfish

5. Paroon red tail catfish

6. Bolt red tail catfish
 
Do you know any other names for bolt catfish. So I can look out for them at my LFS. and how big do they get also how can I tell the sex of them my RTC is a male.

I know their not hybrids I was just talking red tails in general. Also they fairly rare at my LFS.

Very sad story. At my LFS they have a Asian red tail thats 2' and has one eye missing and its tail is all crunched up, it doesn't move and the guy who brought it in kept it in a 15 gallon tank:( some people have no hearts. for fish.:mad:

Bolts are also called Vulture cats in the Stores.

Vet check. one time he swallowed some large gravel so I was worried and I called the vet she came and said don't worry it will pass and she also said it was male. but maybe your right.
