Snatching is when you run a weighted treble hook through the water and stab/hook the fish in the scales/skin. It's illegal to do on most fish except invasive with some exceptions (like peacock bass). We through carp back into the water after we kill them because thread gross and some of the other wildlife will benefit from the corpse. With a snakehead, I'd filet that sucker up.

so that's what my cousin was talking about last week. he mentioned the weighted treble hook.. it was unclear how the hook was set up but I thought you'd still be waiting for the fish to hit your line haha thanks for clearing that up.
