maybe cause you only had him for a mth now?
mine took like 2 mths plus to get like this.
he used to freakout at first.
then he calmed down abit.
but still wouldnt eat infront of me and swim away.
but now hes chasing those CLs like there no tommorow and eats up to 15 1 inch feeders a day!

even an armatus is skittish at a young age. they grow out of it
I may get some Payaras, having a hard time deciding. If I do Payaras I'm probably going to have them with a retic ray.
But I may be using this tank for a Male Jag, 2x Xingu 1 pikes, and a pair of Amphilophus Lyonsi. It's going to be a hard decision.
