Don't know about everyone else, but, my RTS seems to be very aggressive. He chases everything that comes near him.( other than my 2 sevrums). I just didn't know if they were known for that or what? Anyone else had aggression problems from these guys?

Yes these guys can be real bastards. Too bad they are so darn pretty. I had to remove many a redtail from my setups. They seem to do best with large non agressive fish such as tinfoils and severums and large geophagines. Try dealing with a large black shark that gets 23 inches. I had one ended up giving him a 125 all to himself.

Yeah I have him with a gold and a green sevrum a upside down cat and 4 clown loaches and he chases everyone but the sevs. Even the 8" upside down cat...

I had one in my 29 gallon community he was peaceful for awhile but then it started chasing everyone so I tossed him in my turtle pond. Toss my parents red tailed shark in there too after I took down their tank. No issues since. Doesn't bother the goldfish or minnows one bit he does have a few spats with the other shark but nothing major and its a 6' circle for both of em so their good.

I had a gorgeous One given to me, but he was such a pita I didn't have a tank for him. He even went after my 6" gt, I'd say he was about 4". He eventually made his way into my other mean punk fish but eventually my rtm ate my rts.
