IME, the silver looses that nice coloration as it grows. Some hues to remain when they are grown. Mines still have edges colored but they are not fully grown yet

Silver will have a good amount of red in it's tail when young. As they grow larger, it tends to fade. They will still have some red left at the edges. I doubt you'll see a "Red-Tailed" Silver Aro.

it's all about diet....seen a couple with hella red in them. my small wc is really red still, but only 6"
