yeah well.......hes already eaten the sunfish and all the gambusia (thank god). but he and the channel are getting along fine. are their any mid swimming fish i can keep with him? the rtc is absolutely my favorite fish as of now.....he even eats from my hand.....i named him henry....(don't ask why).

My redtailed is about a foot long, I have had him since he's about 3" long 8 months ago.
So far the fish that he ate are as follows:
10" Silver arowana
7" Bichir
4" Hi Fin Pleco
7" Black Ghost Knife

thankyou, eactly for saving my the trouble of telling the people! but i can sure tell you that you rtc will sprout a mean bad addtutied with you channel or any other fish as well rtc fishes look at everything! i mean it everything as a possible food i have a 25inch rtc that tried to eat one of my tcn catfish about 23inches i had teeth marks around it's belly three weeks ago. my suggestion on you chanel cat fish is to put rock or somthin... so they don't see each other.
I've seen large RTC housed with Pacus in a pond before. In public aquariums, I've seen them housed with Arapimas and oddly enough...Red Hook Silver Dollars. They could've been luch, but they never touched them.
