my largest tat has a white fungus like film covering his eyes and the edge of his tailfin and his nose is being eaten away by it he is not breathing right and is just drifting around I added salt and raised water temp but if he is still alive tomorrow wat else should I do since I also don't want my other tat and silver dollars getting it.also larger tat recently lost one of his teeth and was not eating wat should I do?

35%-50% WC immediately and check ammonia before and after the WC it sounds like an ammonia spike and your payara has ammonia burn. When did you clean your filtration systems last. How regularly do you do WC? Did you feed heavily since the last WC? Did you leave food in the tank that either was left and not eaten or sucked up into the filtration? Those are all vital questions.

ammonia is unlikely since I haven't fed them for three days and the filteration is in order I will be doing a water change tomorrow and all other fish are acting fine this particular payara has had this stuff on his tail fin edge for a few days but wat else could it be and should I get antifungle meds?

Ammonia also comes from poop..... antifungle couldn't hurt. But I would also check parameters also may help

You could also add some aquarium salt 1 tbls to each 10 gallons to help healing, improve resperation and to decrease the effects of ammonia and nitrites. Inocculating the tank with a bacterial supplement like Seachem Stability will boost the ability of your bio-filter to deal with this situation. The best thing is frequent (weekly) 50% water changes & regular filter filter maintance. Do not over feed. If you have an ammonia issue either your tank is not cycled or you are overwhelming you bio-filters ability to deal with what is being produced. You may also need to add additional bio-media to your existing flitration system or add and additional filter to help deal with it. GL
