I'm thinking about adding a red tailed shark to my tank and wanted to know if it would be compatible with the fish I already have. Mainly I'm concerned about aggression. I have a group of clown loaches, angelfish, BGK, cory cats, and a couple of mollies.

Probably ok.They can be rough on cories but seem to join in with loaches. How big a tank?

my large red tail use to suck on my BGK. It became a problem.

I thought the red tailed shark's coloring would compliment what I already have in the tank, but based on the replies I'm going to pass on the shark. Thanks for the input everyone.

It is hit or miss. Some RTBS are totally peaceful, some are real A-holes. If you observe a tank of them at the store, choose one that seems more passive, not one that's out swimming bossing the tank around. Mine is somewhere in between... they are usually ok if you they have some sort of cave and enough territory to "claim."
