I Recently Moved My Group Of Red Terrors In To My 55 Gallon Tank
I Noticed That 3 Of Them Are Growing Really Fast And Are Already 1-1.5in
The Rest Of Them Are Still Small .5-.75in
I Feed Hikari Food Sticks In Bit Size Pieces 2 Times A Day
Is This Normal?
What Can I Feed To Buff Them Up?

Same thing happened with mine. Some are just more aggressive eaters. These tend to get the largest over time, but I am not sure if it is because they are genetically predisposed to being large or not. In my experience some will catch up over time and others will not, even though sufficient food is available to all. My largest is a male that reached twelve inches while some others have never exceeded five inches.

I agree with what everyone else is saying. When you have a group of Festae there will always be a few that seem to out grow the others.

I always try to separate them according to size, breaking them down into more appropriate groups will give all of them a chance to grow faster.

There will always be some that just stay small, Its not pretty, and I don't like doing it, but i will usually cull the very small or weakest ones out of a spawn.

it's a stress and scare factor inside the tank. You shouldnt cull any of them if they arent deformed. Because if you compare like that there will always be the biggest or the smallest no way avoiding that.

That weakest fry you killed couldve been stronger than another man's strongest fry. And your strongest one could be weaker than another man's weakest fry.

that one you think is weakest would turn out strong as the rest if he is taken away from those stress. They are all in a box. That's not how they suppose to live in the first place
I try not to cull anything if I dont have to.
