What Geo sp.?

It's a Geophagus from the 'Geophagus brasiliensis' aka Pearl Eartheater complex. Judging by the colour I'd have to say it's 'Geophagus' sp. "Bahia Red".

Madaboutcichlids where did you pick it up from I got two from Rapps recently but I wonder if they are this variant or not. Keeping my fingers crossed because they are still small only like 4'' right now

thanks! I dunno though. The OPs looks way better than the example here, almost looks like a different fish. Is this pic below of a more mature specimen? Do they lose color as they get older?

ok. do you know the collection point or anything else about it? Is it a possible hybrid of 2 others? I havent seen any like it and I REALLY like it. Im not big on eartheaters but that sure changed my views on wanting to have some.
