red terror id

That is a flowerhorn, a poor quality one at that. Is it just me or does the mouth look kind of deformed, like a blood parrot? Since they are hybrids, you should ask about it on the Hybrids forum. I agree, very soon your frontosa (and likely any other fish you might have the tank) will be dead.

thanks for the heads up guys.

i'm gonna give a call to my LFS and see what can be done with the mislabeling + the possible demise of my front. i prefer my front over that FH, hehe. maybe i'll get another front instead.

and my tank is far from huge, just a 29 gallon for the time being.

and i did take a gander at the hybrid forum and got some good info.

thanks again guys. :headbang2

looks like a fhxparrot mix

agreed. not only that but whether it was Festae(red terror) or a flowerhorn, Both get massive and a 29g is not going to be enough for it.

A deform FH.

I would get my money back. What kind of store passes deform low grade FHs as WC RTs? That's even worser than a lfs here that tries to sell Convict x Firemouth as FHs:ROFL:.

BTW mods should move this to the hybrid section.

agreed. the 29 is just for a few months. i'm planning to get something around 80 eventually.

i'm going back in a bit, i'll probably just get some store credit and get some food and a bottom dweller of sorts.

thanks for the info guys. i got the answer needed, thread can be closed if needed.

much love.

thanks. :)

funny thought I was getting a good deal an 10 dollar flowerhorn and ended up with a festae. I'm way happier
