how can you tell the difference between the true red terror and the false red terror as juveniles when there only like 2 or 4 inches big

Look at the tail. Uro's have a larger caudal spot which covers most if not all of the caudal penduncle. Festae's will cover about half.

Also, uro's "Y" bar on the shoulder doesn't connect, while a festae's does.

yup he's right don't listen to anybody else in this thread now The Festaes spot will be on the upper half while the Uro's will be larger and more in the middle

uro, as you can see the caudal spot takes up more than half of the tail.

is it dead or just out of tank for pic?
