Does anyone have pics of a crossbreed of these 2? My terror and texan have paired off and getting ready to drop her eggs.

Thanks the male is gaurding them even against the mom. I might split them up today if the aggression between the two dont go down. So far only two white ones. I was up till 3 am watching them lay and fertilize the eggs. Now i just gotta wait for them to hatch. I also got a pair of jags that are getting ready to spawn.

And yeah i know the gravel is ugly and the back is bare but as soon as i got the extra tank was filled with water i had to move them b/c their tankmates paired up as well and i did not have a lot of time to get the background ready.

Yeah i thought the same thing when i first got her b/c of the coloring. you cant see it very well in the picture but she is red, she does have the Y on her face and her halo spot is off center. I went to like 6 different fish stores looking at red terrors and mayans and asking questions about the difference. I bought 2 at the same time (one boy one girl although i couldnt tell at the time), the male i had to give away after her and the texan paired but he was at least definately a red terror and not a mayan. I dont know there may still be some debate as if shes red terror or mayan but from what I learned she is more than likely a red terror and i may not know until she gets full grown.

Here is another pic of mom and dad. Eggs havent hatched yet they were just laid tuesday night. The last poster brought up a good point that it may be a mayan so anyone who has had experience with either fish please pipe in. I suspected the same thing after seeing a post on another aqua site where someone else asked if theirs was a red terror or a mayan. Both look similar when small but please note the mother is only approximately 5 inches long. But either way im stoked when they hatch and today my jags laid their eggs.

Well i came home last night and all the eggs were eaten. Im assuming then it meant something was wrong with the eggs? Both mom and dad were left in the tank with the eggs and were fed twice a day. Did i need to feed more or was it more likely the eggs being bad? I have at least the jaguar eggs that look healthy still.
