Got some of these from Chris(cjbarth) and decided to give them a go. No idea really how they are going to turn out, since this is her (?) first batch. The parents look really promising though, so I'm hoping that they work out well.

Started out with 18, now I'm down to six. So far those six are holding steady though, so I'm gonna do my best to get them to maturity. They range from .5" to 1.5".

Feeding them Omega One Super Veggie Kelp Flakes, and occasionally live black worms. They are in a sectioned off area of my 125gal that is equal to about 30gals. I do a 30% water change every other day using just tap water.

The largest, most dominant one is the one I'll take most of the pictures of, believe its a male. I think its starting to show signs of peeling/fading, since its starting to get a little black on its chin, caudal, and pelvic fins. Anywho, enjoy! :)

One month update:

Down to five now, one of my other fish decided that one of them looked tasty. They have since been moved to my 30gal tank for grow out purposes and ease of photographing. Haha

Their diet now consists of:
Omega One Super Veggie Kelp Flakes (morning)
Omega One Super Color Color Flakes (evening)
Hikari Tropical Micro Wafers
Hikari Cichlid Gold
Hikari Cichlid Excel
Live Blackworms
Frozen Mysis shrimp

Same dominant males as pictured above, now at about 2.5":

This is my other favorite one. The smallest one I have, but its showing more color than the others. Hopefully at least this one will turn out great! Its just barely pushing 1.5" :

Why do you let them killed each others? if you do not have room for them, don't start buying, those are nice RTs. You don't even need to keep this journal, because at the end you might just have 1 RT left.

surprised to see people insulting the way such a successful and experienced member keeps their fish... every other day water changes and their own tank to themselves? sounds pretty good to me...

Im looking forward to seeing how vivid these guys peel.
Keep up with the updates. They look like they will color up actually quite nicely. Makes me wish I would have ordered a couple.

I don't think I was insulting, but will apologize to anyone that feels that way. If you see people 'HAHA' after resulting 13 brothers/sisters RTs dead in one month, with a section of 30 gal. space, I am sure you will ask 'why??'. I did not know Peanut_Power's past success and experience, but does it matter anyway? and did I break this Forum's rules and regulations yet?

Rarely many people need to change their water every other day, I don't. Giving the minimum space allowance should let you get away from doing extra water changes.

The others died because they got bloat from being fed NLS pellets. Didn't know it was going to cause a problem, was reassured it wouldn't, but alas some things are unpredictable. Consequently I SWITCHED over immediately to straight Omega One Spirulena Flakes and there were no more casualties.

They were originally in a 'overfiltered' 125gal that was sectioned off, which was really probably about 40 gals or more in reality. Hard to photograph them/keep an eye on them in that tank cuz it was dark, plus I had some larger fish that needed to be moved up. So I swapped them. The 30gal that I have moved them to now is not as dark, has more than enough filtration, and is much easier to keep an eye on them. Plus there are only five of them in there, and one L-90.

As for this comment, look back to what I said:

I was laughing at the END of the paragraph, referring to the ease of photographing part. I don't find it any more humorous than you do when a fish dies.

You are right, I don't need to do water changes that often. Actually its more like twice a week, and yes it is still excessive. I try to do all my tanks that way though, why should I let the nutrients build up to a point where they can cause a problem?

Growout tanks are meant to keep the fish till they reach a certain size before they are moved up to the next size tank and so on. As they grow they will be moved on, some faster than others. :)

No, you didn't break any forum rules or regulations. However, jumping down someones neck before you know the whole story isn't exactly a way to make a lot of friends. A little courtesy in the way you word things goes a long way.

Anywho, thanks for the comments everyone! Appreciate all the input. :)
