Too bad Chris (Cjbarth) and you live far apart, i would say try and breed your AWESOME SRT male back to his SRT female, the mom to your male, that would be some great fry!!!! i got 12 lil rt's from chris that are now about 3-4 inches and 2 are starting to fade. i hope i get at least 1-2 that come out kinda like yours? you got 1 of the best looking SRT males around!!!! good luck on breeding him and WE all hope he is fertile!

Amazing pair thank you cjbarth for bringing such an amazing strain to the states. Anybody drooling over that male better pm him for fry.
I believe the fries (male) will have a nice kok due to the female.If you happen to have a fry with a nice kok and RT's markings,it will make a great fish
KOK was bigger in the 125 with other fish. Smaller now thats its just the 2 of em. Maybe the new NLS food will help?
Variety will help...one thing to remember with RT and FH's in general....the KOK will shrink while in trying to breed them... So it will come back in time....dont worry about that.....NLS is a good solid food and it may help...but I think it is more because of the the fish trying to breed...not the food
Just for reference...here is the pic you posted before of him.....with his KOK...I would guess that the SB female was not with him at the time in this pic, or you had more fish with them and they had not paired up!
