yeah like you said why dont you just try to experiment green texas male with kkp female. definitely would get a nice faded one. If you end up having fry's try to breed the male back to the mother kkp to get more red and keep doing it until you get the redness you want.

I would go with just kkp coz if you try another female breed then it would not be a texas breed it would then be mixed. a lot of people including my self uses kkp to breed with flowerhorn to achieve a kamfa or short body flowerhorns.

king kong parrot. not the regular parrot. when you look at a kkp the mouth closes and it looks different than a regular parrot.
