That is how you make an SRT. (eventually)
Just make sure that the KKP is female.

-Color comes from Female
-Pattern comes from Male

ok so let me get this straight i first cross a female Parrot with a Male Green Texas = Red Texas Fry???? but i heard i have to cross them again to one of the parents can someone clear this all up for me?

the more times you breed it back into female kkbp the more color you should have each generation
 
Yes.

But it takes many years of generations to produce fry worthy of the name SRT.
