Red texas cichlid

hey i picked up a red texas earlier this week and was wondering what to feed it , to get the most red out of it , any suggestions.

I agree, and you can add Hikari Cichlid Bio-gold too, it makes my FH looking their best!

btw, what kind of pleco is that? it looks cool.

I think thats your standard sail - Fin pleco atleast thats what they sell them as at my lfs

nope thats a rhino pleco :)
 
i don't have i red texas, but krill helps bring out reds. my fish freak when i get the krill out for them. they like it too. sometimes i also buy shrimp (shell on) from the grocery store and cut it up for them. they love that too and you will like the results.
