Red Texans are mean, mean, mean, and did I say... mean? Had one at my local fish store. She was a lot of fun, could make her do laps all day long chasing your fingers. Black widow too.. she killed her mate by eviscerating him. Was fine with him for years before that..

I had to look that word up.

if its a cichlid it has the potential to be an ass, period.

I have a Red Texas in tank with 2 Red Terrors,2 Green Terrors,2 Black Nastys,an Umbie and a Trimac that are pretty much the same size(3-4") and the Red Texas is the dominant fish.I'm sure it won't be for long though...
