Red texas fading......When?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
There are non fading red Texas and rt faders. Non faders have a red color without fading (kind of like mfker water's nice former rt) and there is a difference between the non fading true red texas and an unfaded hybrid. Some pure carpintis will have a slight red tone beneath their pearls anyways. Not all Texas hybrids fade man so why call them all red Texas? Nothing against any Texas hybrids at all and a regular color carpintis x parrot would certainly be useful in further rt breeding but its still not a red Texas...
Red Texas are made up of Texas crossed with any fader species from Red Devils to the Blood Parrot & Flowerhorn complex. IMO they should called Red Texas so they will know what they get instead of "Green Texas" which you can either get a hybrid or a pure species.

Whatever you like it or not, I'll labeled them as Red Texas even if they are not red. :)

Call them what you want man I don't care :) I just think it would be better for hybrid keepers and breeders if we called these things what they actually are.
