Seems like the hard thing to do with these darn Red Texas fish is to get the rich red under the blue pearls. Guess it just takes the right combination of genes. Nice looking fish will be fun to see them completely peeled.
 
I salute you my brother on these spectacular fries, some of the best red texas ive seen bred in the states. I want to start my own project but its more along the lines of pearly Kamfa. And I would like to use one of your females for my breedings ( PM Sent). And I have a couple of questions,

Did you cull fry or grow them all out.
If you culled at what size did you start to cull, and how did you choose what to cull?
Have you tried breeding the offspring back to the parents.
Are your Male offsprings fertile?

WOW great fish, i just picked up a fader red texas i think, he has allot of black on him , i wanted to get the female to cross but it died the owner said, i will see what my guy becomes he has got some potent i think.
 
They look great. I had a batch about 4 months ago and I'm seeing similar results. Nice job.
