yes we can notice the rips in the fins or the scale damage from fighting,
but keep it to yourself if you dont like something about our stuff or at least dont go on and on about it and go into such great detail about how you "cringe" just to look at our tanks.
we kind of get sick of hearing how you think our fish are so bad when they look completly fine to us and everyone else.
nobody says anything about your fish, so dont put ours down please.
