good rule of thumb.... never put a flowerhorn in a comunity tank no matter what the tankmates are.. rtms can be house with other tank mates but every fish, every tank, every set up is different. trial and error will show you how unpredictable fish are. i just put one of my male rtms 10 inch in my comunity tank. 3 weeks so far and everything is still kool. in a comunity setting your always risking a chance of problems. good luck to you!
