Red Tiger Motaguense?

I'm thinking seriously about a RTM. I'd like to get one with the blue tint, like the photos of aquamojo's RTM. Is that a certain strain of RTM, or did he just get lucky with that one? Is that age? Or is that blue shading in all the adult RTM's and he has a high enough quality camera to capture it in a photo? What are the strains of RTM that are out there. And most importantly, who can I trust to send me one like I want when I order mine? Because the LFS where I'm at SURE doesn't have those in stock. How mean are they?
 
I can only answer the mean question lol. From what I've seen of my dads RTM in the past they are on average nastier than jags but not as murderous as dovii

How about the blue tint? Did you notice any blue tint in the fins, blue or green spangles on the body? If so, did they have it their whole lives, or did they develop it with age?

Males get more of a blue tint to the fins and body females are more intensely red. The colors get stronger as the fish matures. They are much meaner than jags, but also a lot better looking.
 
"meaner than jags" "nastier than jags". Can I keep them with other fish? I have a 125 with a Synspilum, Green Terror, a Lyonsi. I'm hoping if I buy 2-3 a little smaller than the fish I have now, it'll go smooth? That is, if I can find some. Only ones I can find are 3/4 to 1 inch. They'll get eaten. My fish are 4-5 inch right now.

Highly unlikely my dad's pair emptied a 125 of a syn, green terror,jag, and a pair of cons. They was 6 inches at the time and the syn was 10,jag 7 ,green terror 8 and the cons each 4 inches.wasn't the best stock to begin with but they showed no mercy. The male was especially persistent on tormenting others
