Red tiger motaguense

This is one of the most problematic occurrences in the hobby today, because amateurs allow cross breeding, and don't have the ethics to cull, and instead turn the juvies into LFSs, as something or other, and most LFSs don't have the expertise to know either..
Although it may not clear as a juvie that it wasn't a true motaguense, its pretty obvious now.
And whether it is attractive or not, is "not" the point, because a mutt is a mutt is a mutt, and can never be give a species name, because there is no way to call it something it isn't.
Some might call it a motapintus, or a king kong piccachoo, there's no way to actually know what it is. But at least with those type names, I'd know enough not to buy it, but instead LFSs will give a bogus species name to make a sale.
If the OP likes it that's fine, but if the OP wanted a true motaguense, it ain't one, and should never be used as breeding stock, to again, muddy up the waters with more mutts.
Beside there is only a possibly that @ 10% of a resulting spawn will look reasonable, and no way to know they will, until they are large enough to sport adult coloration.
