Red Tiger Motas grow out thread

Just picked up four little red tiger motas from a buddy yesterday and now that they've settled in well and are little pigs I thought I'd share some pics. They're around an inch big maybe a little bigger.

they don't look like much....now....i'm gonna sub this, I'm curious to see how fast/slow they grow. I'd like to have one, but I'm not buying a 6 inch RTM just to have it kill everything else in my tank. If they don't grow too slow, though, I might start with some young ones like this and maybe get lucky and find a sensible one in the group.

It'll thin out as they get bigger. Originally was going to have live but I don't want to put work into something that will be destroyed as they get bigger plus the lil guys love hiding in the plants.

I'll update as often as I can and when I notice growth. I've read that some ppl say they grow slow and other fast so im pretty curious how fast they'll grow in a 120g for now.

Tank is sitting at 26-27c and they're eating like champs 2-3 times a day. Mixing it up with pellets and flakes. Going to get some massivore later and break it up and see how they do on that as well.

I've got 5 growing out in a 125. Had them about 3weeks & I've already noticed some growth on them. Mine are a little over an inch & feisty little things! More conspecific aggression than any other fish I've grown out save for Trimacs.

Any pics of them?

So far 2 keep side by side and one likes to hide in the plants and another behind the driftwood. However the one that hangs around the driftwood will at times hang around the 2 that stick side by side or hang out with the marble convicts. Have yet to see any chasing and aggression.
