oo timely.. I picked up 7 juvie RTM a week and a half ago. Put them in a 180g, 1 has since vanished... and I am treating for ich right now, but otherwise they are doing fine.
Any pics of them?
So far 2 keep side by side and one likes to hide in the plants and another behind the driftwood. However the one that hangs around the driftwood will at times hang around the 2 that stick side by side or hang out with the marble convicts. Have yet to see any chasing and aggression.

That's a nice grow out tank for them![]()

I've been growing out 6 RTMs since last June (5 from one batch plus a larger female). The big female is extremely aggressive so I haven't been able to keep her with any fish her size or smaller. The juvies seemed perfectly fine together for months in a 90g until the dominant male randomly decided to kill both females within 2 days. I would definitely recommend having a backup plan and separate if one of the males significantly outpaces the other's growth (the alpha male in my avatar pic is twice the size of my other 2 males - all being fed NLS Grow and Ultra Red).
About the coloration, males will have dark fins with a pale yellow base color and reddish spots that start showing as early as 2". The females will have blue fins with a solid yellow base that becomes more orange/red as they get bigger. The first difference I noticed was the males started developing a spotted pattern in their fins while the females were solid with light blue on the tips.
Here's a few pics of my males and an old one of the female I REALLY miss (last 2 pics):
