Place a piece of landscape fabric on the bottom. The water can still drain, but it will keep the worms in. In the pics of my setup above, that's what the white piece of fabric is. The bottom compartment is open to collect drainage, and the bottom tray has that piece of fabric placed under it. You shouldn't have too much drainage anyway. If you're dripping a bunch of water from the bottom of your bin, you're keeping it too wet.
