I am surprised he wasn't aware of the temp conditions of your room. Thats pretty insane man. If the room and water was that hot the water level would have went down drastically. Even just on low 80's the water level in my tank evaporates kind of quickly. Your brother did not notice the filter getting louder and the water level dropping?
