Red Wolf Fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know they dont like other wolfs or fish that look like them.
I was thinking of getting a few plecos for that tank.
Along the lines of a Leopard or Sunshine plecos. What do you guys think?
(i know this is not exatly the same situation i started this thread on but didnt want keep creating multi threads for basic questions thanks)

my guy has been a fast grower and very active,
i keep the tank at 78 and he is constantly swimming around looking for food
i have a gravel bottom and i keep him alone cuz he takes chunk out of anything that moves lol.. but i think it would more depend on the fish as to tankmates, if you get them i would make sure they are bigger

plecos will be fine.
just make sure they arent small enough to swallow.

If you do not mind me asking where did you get the wolf at. i am kind of local to you.

Those with the very active ones, how big are they? I noticed with mine when he was 4.5" or so he was very very active. Once he hit around 5.5" he slowed down some. Now that he's 6" or more he usually only swims around when looking for food.

Mine is roughly six inches and is quite active, but similar to yours, swimming around when looking for food, which is always, no matter how much he's been fed.
