A while back my mala had fish lice. The "tablets" could not get rid of them. I ended up driving an hour away to a bigger fish store and picking up some "Life Bearer". This killed off all the fish lice within a week. I highly recommend that stuff when fighting parasites.
 
Life or Live ?

I have heard of live bearer Med before.

But I have no experience with etheir of them.

No problem

Also don't be affraid to up the doseage a little as well. I have used double the amount many times with characins with no ill effects.

Just watc the fish for signs of any irratation and if so do a water change. But I am 99.9% sure there will be no problem.
