2 is a definite no. 125 isn't adequate space, you'd probably need like 1000 gallons even then they may search eachother out. Conspecific aggression is generally bad lol. You'd have to get quite a few reds or have a fish that actively serves as a peacekeeper which is quite rare. We've only seen it done with purple wolves. I think he had five in a 150. Reds can be a little more aggressive.

Right on, I assumed so but you never know if you don't ask! Now, a final question, would split a 125 and having a divider be acceptable? Keep a wolf in each half. Or should I just have a single wolf in that tank?

I'd say best to keep one... you don't want them rubbing their snout on the divider causing injury and stress. Also runs the risk of one getting through.

If you wanna experiment get a bunch of them lol see how that works long term. But 2 of anything rarely ever works. Even schooling fish will kill each other if there's only 2.
