Red wolf tankmates?

I was thinking can I keep dwarf pikes with a red wolf in a 40g breeder tank dimensions are 38x34x18
??

I don't think so. If your wolf is aggressive, he's gonna have some problems with the pikes. Size matters, but in that space, he might be aggressive.

I can't really tell yet he's still a little shy I was thinking of adding my baby Anguilla in there he's kinda skinny and long idk if the wolf would mistake him for a nightcrawler ?

Pikes don't make the best tankmates as they are usually a lil too aggressive and with a wolf that will end bad for the pike

I would only put fish that are simalar size to the wolf. mid swimming or top swimming fish.
 
If your wolf allows fish try fish that keep to themselves, bichirs, silver dollars, medium growing cichlids likes rainbows, firemouths, or any others u can think of. Stay away from combative cichlids or small top swimming fish as they will become lunch.
