I agree. The key with africans especially mbunas is overstocking. I put 150 mbunas (labs, zebras, kenyi, ob zebras, albino socolofi, albino zebras, and a few other odds and ends) into a 220 for a restaurant client. 50 percent weekly water changes and a huge sump with 10 gallons of bioballs and everything is great. It has been up and running now for 9 months. Numbers are up over 200 now with all the baby red zebras, yellow labs, and kenyi cruising around. On my phone now.
