Redesigned Native 210

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I really love darters.......when I first got into natives I made the mistake of trying to keep some logperch with sunnies, lol I had some reeeally fat happy sunnies for awhile. I looked online at some pics of greenside darters, beautifull fish; to brighten the colors on my sunnies I used to give them bloodworms and gutloaded scuds.

I feed mine bloodworms as well, the shiners love it too. They are a lot easier and cheaper to feed than the others I had.

Fishing tonight wasn't so good, I caught a small channel because I was bored. But then we started to seine. We got 3 madtoms and a bunch of Darters and a 3 Steelcolor Shiners, along with a ton of Hellgrammites. We got the bass in the cast net tonight and it tossed up a small Hognose.

Also, haven't had time to look it up yet but will when I post it, but was is this?

Do you use a Chiller for temperature control.:). I would like to setup a native tank with Darters.

From what I found on Google, its not a sow bug, they look different.

Right.....I see that from the pictures, but the locals here call those sow bugs, lol of course they call Rock bass and Warmouth "Goggleye" and all sunfish are called "Breem".
