Redfish Red drum pictures

I went out with some friends in my boat on friday and killed it. We caught a total of 10 Red Drum, most within slot, one was under. I landed the biggest fish of the day, a 24" 4 pound Red Drum, which I am displaying proudly. We were using live finger mullet. My boat is a 14' double wide Lowe jon boat with an Evinrude 25hp outboard.

Edit, We filleted them and blackened them creole style, one of the best fish I have ever eaten, very underrated in the food fish hierarchy.

Nice I need to go after some Red again soon. I've only caught one so far but it was 27" and 6.5lbs.

gotta love those reds.... i got one last year that was 31'' and this year i have seen over 20 bulls caught.... most around 45"

Thats definitely a nice one to catch though! They are feeding hard right now, fattening up for the winter. They were hitting the bait as soon as it hit the water. My buddies went out after we got back (I think they were a little jealous), and they nabbed a 3 pound trout and grilled it up during the fish fry last night. God, I would love to get one of those big bulls! That guy that i caught put up one hellova fight, I have to say that drum are becoming one of my favorite fish to go after.

hahaha, yeah, my mom got them for me when I went to belize for research last year, ugly as hell but do the job.
