Redhead Severums laid eggs!

being inexperienced he may not have fertilized the whole batch.. just a few white eggs may not mean the whole batch is bad.. but likely just a few he missed.. they are gorgeous severums... congradulations ! If not this time then next time..

Oh sweet! Are those the ones you got at the CCAC auction? I'd leave em' alone and see what happens. 99.9% chance they'll lay eggs again...and then again...and again etc. Congratz, that's exciting news!

It looks as if they've given up on most of the eggs. We'll call this a practice round and move them and hope that they try again.

nice!!!! i really like the turquiouse on that pair *drools*
sevs usually arernt the greatest of parents but they may be better at it if you transfered them to another tank on their own so they can concentrate on the fry and not attacking other fish in the tank

Beautiful!!! My two little ones spawned this weekend--"junior" just didn't know what to do with them yet aside from protecting from the snail, so they were all white. Next time. . . . Best of luck!!! I love sevs .
