Yo everybody. I was wondering what you feed your severums, because I can't get mine to eat. I have 4 and I haven't seen them eating in atleast 2 weeks now. Everybody else in the tank eats the pellets, spirulina, and i feed tilapia bits and freeze dried tubifex worms every so often.

I've made efforts to make sure the food goes directly towards them but they just refuse to eat it. :(

its very peculiar, because they were eating just fine a few weeks ago, and it seemed to have just happened overnight. They just will not eat any prepared food that I put in for them, and theyre too small for feeders :(. My spectabile would suck them up anyway as soon as feeders go into the tank :D

I'm not sure if i should move them to my 75 or what :(

try some of the garlic extreme stuff maybe?

they dont sell that as far as i know at any lfs around me :(

The petsmarts around here carry it, have you tried there?

water parameters are perfect. Everyone else in there is fine, and as far as I can tell, none of them are being bullied around. I might try moving them to the 75, but then I'll have to move the blue dempsey to the 20 gallon so HE doesn't get pushed around, ahahha. I'll see if a change of scenery will do them any good for now.

bit late on a reply for this but i really wouldnt worry too much. ive never heard of any fish dying from starvation. it is possible that they have eaten something very hard and the roof of the mouth is incredibly tender. ive heard of this before but not had any experience with it happening but seeing as you have 22 itss unlikely. id wait another week and then begin to worry. theres every chance they could have some type of internal parasite that you cannot see.
