redid my 30 gallon cichlid tank

Then decided it needed some white rocks.

I would add another pot but thats the only one that lowes had last night. I picked up 2 bigger ones but they wont work in the tank now with the rocks. Before I redid the tank I made a custom background for the tank. Made it out of pvc gutter and covering it with rocks and made some caves. But my water was always cloudy so I had a feeling that the filter wasn't pulling enough water through it. Anyway here is a picture or 2 of my background i am throwing out probably lol.

I got the sand from petsmart. CaribSea Aquarium Sand
I bought the rocks from another smaller pets store. $1.99lb. I picked up 14 lbs.

I also posted videos I took from inside the tank. The videos are in the video lounge.

maybe you could have put in some air stones behind the cave holes to push the water some?

Yea they were always in them. Should of seen it when i went to net them out so i could redo the tank. Opened the lid and they seen the net and everyone of them hide in the caves. Had to take the background out inorder to take the fish out. Only thing i didn't really like about it was it never really sat flush with the back of the tank. fish were able to swim between all levels and caves from inside.
