Hey Otherone there is picture of a brycon in one of my books.It has a black slash through the tailfin and it is called the sickle banded brycon.Have you ever seen it around?

I've got over a dozen that are more than 16" and they range up to 26"tl and everyone was measured.
We caught more than 3 dozen out my 15 in 2009. I put them outside for the summer into several ponds. Only one Brycon was under 16". I gave away more than half and kept 17 and put them in the big tank that fall.
What species do you keep?
