i don't know, but my rtc swims in 87F because my heater was broken, luckly it was only 250watt for 220g. but now that i have got new heater, and got the temp to 84 - 85, it is still fine. and the broken heater was in tank for 2 weeks. so maybe you can consider turn the heat up? to see?

Haven't seen that before on my two old RTC's. Don't really want to tell you to "Try" things that might not work. Hmmm....Have you tried aquarium salt?
I would try a combination of Melafix and Pimafix, because from what I have read they definitely wont make things worse. They might work or they might not but they cant make things worse, so its worth a try. Both are 100% natural and all they do is super oxygenate the water to the point where bacteria/fungus/parasites cant live. That is why you get so much foam on the water when you use them. Also don't use the full strength dose, because RTC are scaleless and don't need as much medication. I think it was use half the dose for scaleless (ie:catfish), but you should double check me on that.

I am not a big fan of adding chemicals without being sure of the problem I am trying to fix. I wish I would have and idea if it is a bacterial problem or what. And I dont appreciate the pokemon coment.. Just kidding that was funny
