The problem seems to have gone away, for now anyway lol 
Both fish have settled on different resting spots and haven't been in each other's faces since then. It's been less than a day, but hey, I'm hopefull
@alexpie001 ... We are still planning the pond layout, depth, etc. The hole and waterproofing hasn't even been done yet. I haven't given much thought to the heating & filtration yet, but I was going to cross that bridge when I go there. Once I have some final pond dimensions (volume), I'll definitely ask for some help here on MFK
@taksan & esparonisproud ... Yeah, I know that's going to happen eventually, but I am hoping to have my pond ready before then lol. I might end up cutting this close in the end, but my RTC is definitely going to be the 1st fish that I move over

Just based on the comments regarding the RTC, I had to add to this thread ...
The Sun Catfish actually seems to be the aggressor for the most part, and funny enough, my RTC usually swims away.
Strange as it sounds, it's true ... and my RTC is bigger than the Sun Catfish
For the most part, they just avoid each other nowdays though
